My name is Annette Durkin and I love helping my clients make their individual haircut, color and style easy to manage. What you see is what you get with me as I assist my clients in embracing their inner beauty by making it come to the surface for others to see and appreciate.

I am formally trained in the Head Shape Matters cutting system. I am also employed with the company as an Educator, teaching other professionals how to successfully use the program to change their clients’ lives.

My approach to hair is simple, healthy hair is beautiful hair. Whether it is curly or straight, long or short, my goal for your hair is to have it be healthy and easy to care for. I feel there are more important things in life requiring your time and energy than your hair. I want to give you a style that will, in essence, make your life easier. By using Head Shape Matters cutting system, I work with your texture and growth patterns as opposed to working against them. I will collaborate with you to find the right combination of color, style, product, and application to achieve what works best for you.

I am lucky enough to be married to a chef. Although I do not like to cook, I love to eat and talk about food. Patrick (my husband) and I love to travel and experience local cuisines, especially in warm locations near a beach. The perfect day away from the salon would be lying in a hammock on a warm sunny day, reading a book.
