GENERAL TIPS
You can cocktail or layer any of these products or use them alone.
Depending on the ratio of products will determine how much structure, texture, volume you will get.
You can also focus products on different areas.
ie: firmer hold on roots for lift,
firm and light holds through mid shaft for volume and smoothness,
light hold through ends for extra smooth.
Vary how wet your hair is and how much product you use to find your optimal results.
HAIRSTORY
New Wash
Original- balanced cleanse and moisture (I feel this one is the best detangler)
Deep- most cleansing
Rich- most moisturizing
Purple - added to either Original or Rich, counteracts brassy tones on blondes or grey/silver hair
Just remember the 3 things:
1. Enough product and water. Keep layering product and water until it feels slimy and you can tell it’s holding moisture. (Seaweed)
2. Friction. Scrub everything. Do not use nails to scrub!
3. Rinse rinse rinse. The company suggests rinsing twice as long as a normal conditioner. I suggest softly scrubbing off your scalp. If you look at the shower floor, you will see suds. Continue to rinse until the suds are done.
Bond Serum
Hair repair and reconstructor
Shake bottle before using. Apply to most damaged areas then apply from roots to ends. Let sit and penetrate before continuing with regular styling routine. Recommended amount is dime size for fine hair, quarter size for thicker hair. Use more as needed.
Primer
Thermal protection, UV protection, detangler, smoothes and moisturizes
Spray all over wet or dry hair focusing on the ends. If using on dry hair, make sure Primer is dry before using irons.
Hair Balm
Moisturizing, formulated for air drying, natural texture without frizz
Apply to wet hair (not dripping) using “prayer hands” through the mid shafts and ends of hair then pat product around scalp, finish by scrunching with flour sack towel or the like.
Hair Oil
Adds shine, fights frizz, is an anti-humectant
Apply a small amount on wet or dry hair focus mostly on mid shaft to ends. Wet hair can absorb more oil. Dry hair only use 1-2 drops.
Dressed Up
Thermal protection, natural volume
Apply to damp or wet hair. Work through mid shafts and ends first then work product up towards scalp.
Lift
Provides volume, shine and thermal protection
Heat activated (needs heat to do its thing). Can be reactivated with heat.
Hold at a distance and spray anywhere you want more volume. Lift hair and spray under each section if you have longer hair.
Generally applied to wet hair but can be applied to dry.
If you spray too close, it will take forever to dry and look VERY shiny (greasy).
Powder
Dry shampoo, texturizing powder
Apply to dry hair. Apply to root area (but not directly onto scalp) to add volume. Apply through length of hair for added texture.
Undressed
“sea salt” spray, creates texture and volume
Can use on damp or dry hair. Layer on to create texture and volume that you want.
Wwwax
Paste
Emulsify a pea sized amount and use fingers to apply to ends for a piece-y look or to roots for overall texture.

CULT + KING
Tonik
Feels great, smells great, promotes a healthy scalp environment, has been shown to naturally remove DHT from scalp, use on non wash days to soak up some oil
Can be applied up to 3 times a day. But especially nice on freshly washed scalp.
Apply directly to scalp before other products. If applying to dry hair, allow to dry (it will probably dry crunchy) give it a little shake to break the cast (crunch).
Jelly
Curl structure, volume, texture
Pink Himalayan salt base, so the more you use, the more texture/volume you will get. However, you will also feel more of the “salt” feeling and lack easy glide through hair.
For curls, apply to wet hair (not dripping) using “prayer hands” then pat product around scalp, then scrunch with flour sack towel or the like.
For straight hair, apply to damp to wet hair focusing at the roots.
Style
Smoothes, thermal protection, adds moisture
For curls, apply to wet hair (not dripping) using raking and “prayer hands”, then pat product around scalp, then scrunch with flour sack towel or the like.
For straight hair, apply to damp to wet hair focusing on mid shafts to ends first.

Moisture “hair to toe” product, leave-in conditioner, can be used as a body lotion
Emulsify in hands (happens quickly). Apply to wet hair focusing on ends then working to mid shaft.
Vegan Balm
Can be used on hair and skin
Start with a dime sized amount working into wet or dry hair to define shape and smooth ends. Get second day hair on day one.
Use a lotion, shave cream, beard “oil”, under eye cream, the list goes on.
Superwater
Toner for hair and skin, adds shine and softness without weight
Spray on wet hair for weightless shiny softness. Spray on dry hair to refresh texture.
Use on skin to soften and hydrate. Antioxidant Toner for Hair and Skin. “Moisturize, Balance, Protect, Prep, Refresh.”
Shampoo Bar
Shampoo in a bar form
Not color safe!
Very cleansing.
I do not recommend if your hair gets tangly.
Vegan Balm
I have not experienced this one yet. It is supposed to be a light hold version of Balm. Defrizz. Wax-like. Can be used as a face moisturizer. “Start with a small amount, working it into wet or dry hair to define shape and accentuate texture, curls, and waves, while taming frizz and smoothing ends. Pre-style before blow-drying or air-drying. Smooth some on your face, neck, or beard while you’re at it.”
